WHY A HOTEL?
Toronto saw a 3.6% increase in the number of tourists visiting Toronto from 2016-2017. This increase in visitors and a lack of hotels in the area, demonstrates why the King-Spadina neighbourhood is an ideal location for hotel uses. This development will also add 175 jobs to the area, spurring economic development. The map below highlights the current, proposed, and under construction building uses for the area, including hotels.
